Mass. Report

Examples of recent custom projects include:

MassCEC – Clean Edge benchmarked Massachusetts’s clean-energy activities against 14 other leading states and delivered a comprehensive benchmarking overview, identifying Massachusetts’s strengths and weaknesses, including an in-depth action plan for the state. Report can be viewed here.

International Development Organization – Working closely with a leading Import/Export agency, Clean Edge researched five clean-technology sectors in the U.S. (smart grid, solar, wind, green buildings, and electric vehicles) to provide client with unique insights regarding regional clusters and leadership, as well as actionable outreach and development strategies. In addition to providing an in-depth report, Clean Edge created a list and overview of top U.S.-based companies that fit the client’s objectives.

Texas Report

Private Industry Client – Clean Edge created a detailed study of the solar industry in Texas compared against five other top solar PV states. This comparative analysis was used to show Texas’s relative positioning in the solar PV industry in the United States, and to identify areas of leadership and areas for improvement. The report can be viewed here.

Coalition of State and Local Government – Sponsored by the Portland Development Commission and Business Oregon, the two major economic development agencies within Oregon, Clean Edge evaluated Oregon’s standing in the U.S. clean-energy economy. The report highlights Oregon’s strongest areas of activity and compares the state’s performance against national averages and performances of five other top performing states.
