Over the past 28 years, Booky Oren has been active in a variety of global and local industries and markets. At the beginning of the Millennium, Oren turned from the high-tech industry to the water Industry. He’s currently chairman and CEO of Booky Oren Global Water Technologies, which focuses on commercialization of proven water innovations worldwide. The company operates the "Global Water Partnership Hub" integrating water utilities from various countries with technology providers and the financial community. He is also chairman of the Cleantech Committee of Israel America Chamber of Commerce. 
 
From 2003 to 2006, Oren served as executive chairman of Mekorot (Israel National Water Company) supplier of 70 percent of Israel's water consumption. It was during this role that Oren initiated and implemented within Mekorot, WaTech™ – utilizing the company's facilities as beta sites for new external innovation. Since it's initiation in 2004, more than 600 technological proposals have been submitted to the WATEC program; after a strict engineering evaluation, more than 20 have been implemented. Oren served as chairman of WATEC from 2007 through 2011. 
 
Oren was among the initiators of the Israeli government's decision to place the water industry as an industry of national priority – Israel NEWTech (www.israelnewtech.gov.il). The export of the water technology industry increased from 850M USD in 2006 to about 2B USD in 2011.

Tamin is CEO of Banyan Water (www.banyanwater.com), a private-equity funded company that retrofits and manages water systems for large commercial and institutional customers facing water scarcity, rising bills, and water damage. Banyan Water uses software to cut customers’ water use in half and allow remote monitoring and control. Tamin also serves as Chairman of Imagine H2O (www.imagineh2o.org), a global organization spurring entrepreneurship in the water industry through innovation prizes and a water business incubator. He sits on the Board of Directors of Lux Research (www.luxresearchinc.com), a leading provider of research and analytics on water and other clean technology markets, and is a frequent speaker on water business opportunities. 
 
Previously, Tamin was a Principal at Catamount Ventures (www.catamountventures.com), a $200 million venture capital firm, where he invested in and supported the growth of portfolio companies in water, energy, and the environment. Before joining Catamount, Tamin was a principal investor at Goldman, Sachs & Co., where he co-founded and managed Goldman Sachs E&P Capital to invest in private energy companies, overseeing growth to over $200 million in capital invested. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Tamin held a business development position with Launch Media through its acquisition by Yahoo!

Susan Gladwin serves as Autodesk’s Clean Tech Initiative Global Lead, and is responsible for overseeing the company’s clean tech program and industry strategy. In this role, Susan manages Autodesk’s partnerships with clean tech companies and stakeholders in North America, Europe and Asia, and also tracks the sector’s sustainability best practices. In 2009, she was responsible for launching the Autodesk Clean Tech Partner Program, designed to assist clean tech startups through deployment of Autodesk digital prototyping software. 
  
Ms. Gladwin serves on the board of directors for Silicon Valley Toxics Coalition, as well as on the faculty of the California College of the Arts’ MBA in Design Strategy program, where she co-developed the Sustainability Studio curriculum. She was part of the founding team of the Clean Technology Open and served as its sustainability chair. Prior to her work with Autodesk, Ms. Gladwin founded Gladwin Consulting, a strategic marketing consulting practice that serves both venture-backed and established technology, digital media, and consumer brand companies as well as select non-profits, building on her previous management experience with Apple and other technology brands.

Ron Pernick is founder and managing director of clean-tech research and advisory firm Clean Edge and the coauthor of two books on clean-tech business and innovation, Clean Tech Nation (HarperCollins, 2012) and The Clean Tech Revolution (HarperCollins, 2007). At Clean Edge he has coauthored more than two dozen reports on clean technologies, markets, and policies and oversees the firm’s research, event production, index publishing, and advisory services. He has taught MBA-level courses at Portland State University and New College, is widely quoted in the media, and is a regular speaker at industry events in the U.S. and abroad. He lives in Portland, Oregon with his wife and two children.
