Between 2009 and 2013, Mr. Newell also served as a Senior Advisor for US Renewables Group, a private equity firm. Previously, he held senior management positions with various investment firms including Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Olympius Capital, E*Offering, and investment banking firm Robertson Stephens. Mr. Newell is also a founder of New Resource Bank.

She has over 20 years of banking experience and was the founder and first Director of the Office of Environmental Affairs at JPMorganChase, responsible for creating and implementing the firm's global environmental and social risk management policies; developing business opportunities for the low carbon economy; advancing the public policy dialogue on climate change; and managing the firm's environmental footprint. Prior to The Climate Group and establishing the Office of Environmental Affairs, she advised global Private Banking clients on their philanthropic efforts specifically on the environment, micro-credit, human rights, and venture philanthropy. In addition, Amy held various positions at JPMorganChase advising not-for-profits, law firms, and individual clients on their financial needs; managing the banking relationships of domestic financial institutions; and, auditing the firm's international loan portfolio. Amy speaks frequently on the opportunities for a more prosperous and low-carbon world.

Ron Pernick is founder and managing director of clean-tech research and advisory firm Clean Edge and the coauthor of two books on clean-tech business and innovation, Clean Tech Nation (HarperCollins, 2012) and The Clean Tech Revolution (HarperCollins, 2007). At Clean Edge he has coauthored more than two dozen reports on clean technologies, markets, and policies and oversees the firm’s research, event production, index publishing, and advisory services. He has taught MBA-level courses at Portland State University and New College, is widely quoted in the media, and is a regular speaker at industry events in the U.S. and abroad. He lives in Portland, Oregon with his wife and two children.
